Blogging away!!!

Well it’s exactly one year to the day since this Blog’s Birth! I started it before I went into the Maria house as a diary because my memory is so atrocious that I really wanted to document everything. I didn’t want to forget anything from my incredible ‘Maria’ experience - little did I know it would be still going strong a year on! Thanks to all of you who check it out - I really hope you’ve had a good giggle at the photos etc. and thank you also for your comments which always make me smile and make my day!What a year it’s been hey?

I never could have imagined I’d be part of the 21st cast of The Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End! (Check out the photos!!) I’ve met some absolutely wonderful people who will be lifelong friends and I’ve learnt more than I ever could have hoped!
I’ve also bought my first flat which was a huge achievement and I am so happy here.

Have no idea what the next year will bring….I have decided to leave Phantom, so I’m looking for work from September. For me, a year in show, even Phantom, is long enough and creatively I need a new challenge. So, bring it on!!!! Any ideas??!

Ha ha! Saved my Birthday Celebrations for a day late when I was fortunate enough to be invited to The Rainbow Trust’s 80’s Pop Heaven bash on London’s Haymarket - conveniently opposite Her Majesty’s Theatre!!

The highlight of the evening had to be meeting Lee MacDonald & Erkan Mustafa, better known as Zammo and Roland from Grange Hill! I have 2 older sisters which meant I could watch Grange Hill from a very young age, against my mum’s approval!! Feels like I grew up with these guys, so was such a huge pleasure to meet them!

Then the DJ played ‘Hey Mickey’, the first song I learned to sing as an 80’s kid so my 80’s experience was complete….

Wow - didn’t celebrities look healthier back then??
